Pet insurance helps owners plan for unexpected veterinary expenses. Chicopee Hills Animal Hospital does not sell insurance, but we highly recommend it for all pets. A lot of our veterinary team members have pet insurance and are happy to have it. Coverage, reimbursement, deductibles, exclusions, and claim timelines depend on your individual insurance policy.
Before You Buy
Review each policy carefully, including waiting periods, exclusions, deductible amounts, reimbursement limits, and whether preventive care is included. Trupanion insurance offers a 30 day free trial for puppies and kittens under 1 year of age.
After Your Visit
Ask your insurance provider what documents are required. Our team can provide medical records or invoices when needed for claim submission.
